Committees

Education  
Work with SALARA staff to coordinate eductional programs and efforts throughout Southern Arizona.  Work to ensure achievement of financial and scholarship goals.  Oversee education efforts for our own team/industry.

Events & Programs  
Assists with planning and execution of association events including: Monthly Luncheons, Annual Golf Tournament, Media Reception and other industry events and programs.

Government Affairs
Works with SALARA staff to monitor, amend, initiate or oppose council or legislative action, regulatory rulings and other activity at local, state or national level.

Membership
Works with the SALARA team to increase membership as well as enhance, review and develop membership programs.  Establish and review opportunites for member benefits.

Public Affairs 
Works with the SALARA communications team to help relay positive messages about the tourism and lodging industry to the media.  Will help to communicate the positive aspects and benefits of the tourism industry.
